PUBLIC SPEAKING IS AN ART !! A message to junior colleagues Dear friends, I am writing this from my heart. There have been times when we have felt that we have not got good recognition for our work on a national and international platform. There have been times when we go to some conferences travelling long distances as a speaker to see that there are only 2 or 3 people sitting to listen to us. This situation has been faced by all of us. Well I did a statistical analysis of the recent lockdown situation. I was keen in noting the speakers , choice of topic and the number of people attending. I was surprised to find that every one , be it junior or senior , gets an audience of atleast 75 as a minimum count. Now coming to the point. Many people I rang up and asked ' zoom is a free platform , why then are you not talking . This is the best time ' . The answer invariably was , I'm too small . People will laugh at me. My dear friends this is a message to all juniors at this moment . A leader is one , who grabs hold of opportunities at the best possible time . Never bother about the naysayers. You can even choose a very remote topic , like your hobbies and talk. Well there will be atleast 10 ppl at this time. BUT WHAT YOU GAIN IS CONFIDENCE IN PUBLIC SPEAKING. God does not give opportunities every time. You have to grab it. You have to become a public speaker for you to get out of the shell. Post your good videos. Talk to your colleagues. This is the best time. DO IT NOW , FOR YOU MAY NOT GET THIS CHANCE AGAIN. DONT BOTHER ABOUT THE NEGATIVE COMMENTS. FOR I BELIEVE THAT PPL WHO SEE THE NEGATIVES IN YOU WILL ALWAYS BE A PERSON ON THE BACK SEAT. when you speak initially , u may have some reservations.
